We must say - we're disappointed with the
as it appears to have lost all common sense, all direction and all instinct that dictates what is readable, entertaining and worth reporting about! We know, we know: we have spoken of this brand of blogging before -of it and of its own affiliated network of blogkins- and we spoke of it with glowing admiration, because that seemed to be, at the time, the luminous thing to do! Howerver, now, with hindsight being 20/20 quite obviously, and with a new light cast upon it all, as only luminescence can bestow, we are seeing things not as we wanted to see them, shaped in an idealistic mold, but really as they are in abysmal reality! Take, for example, this sordid story on
Florida Man that was reported on DB most recently; what a revolting waste of everyone's time, that obviously led to yet more time-wasting all over the place and even right here, on our own network! Because we have considerable greater things to do than lament the fact that these bozos... sorry, these wackos... sorry, these
Yahoos... are so desperate to find something to write about that they'll turn to Twitter's oddest Yahoos... sorry, oddest cuckoos... sorry again, oddest
twits... in order to find material! Wackos by any other name indeed: these chronicles in 140 characters or less about ''the world's worst superhero'' are simply not interesting - even if they are ''real headlines'' as they profess to be right there on Twitter. They are because they merely collect all the news feeds' wackiest headlines about bumbling criminals from the so-called Sunshine State (but clearly not the state with the brightest bulbs in the x-mas tree!) and those happen to be, oftentimes, lone Florida Men indeed! One supposes that some creative license is used whenever it is, at long last, a criminal Floridian
chick that is caught with her, er, panties down or something... For the sake of his Twitter feed, I am sure it is not beneath this ''Florida Man'' dude to falsify the report, substituting ''man'' to ''woman'' so that the trend and motif remain intact...! But this is mere supposition, granted...
What really burns people's butts here is that this comes from a supposedly ''serious website'' and ''serious, reliable and noteworthy news service'' - not to mention cyber media mogul, recognizable brand (meant to be, therefore, a certified quality service) and an e-mail service provider too. (Maybe that last one should have been all that Yahoo should have ever been, too! But that is another question...) If Yahoo pushes the offense so far as to present us with this fluff, and then makes it worse by submitting for our attention further ''RELATED CONTENT'' (such as Florida man pleads guilty in fraud case... And Florida man's license restored as state drops the charges... Or better yet: Florida man and Mexican woman sentenced to prison for trying to sell stolen matisse...!!!) that they urge us to ''EXPLORE'' - and then they further aggravate us by presenting us with yet MORE fluff from their very own penning, in their sidebar, in case we missed the other extremely incriminating pieces of evidence in the case against them as they stand accused of cyberbullshitting us to death (which is that much worse than spamming us, I am telling you, folks!) in this manner:
Well, then, there is one thing left to say and to do with the Daily Buzz, I am afraid:
Lindsay Jolivet, Yahoos in general that have been contributors, accomplices,
repeat offenders on that DB thing - and whoever else from the buzzsaw world
that spawns all of the usual suspects in this sort of thing -
we are sorry but we have to call
for a complete and irreversible
boycott of that insufferable
waste of our time
called
''DB''
No more
Daily Buzz
- NO MORE!
