Blogger boogers are one thing - Bloggy boogers is the worst thing!

What would you think of a contest judge that is so biased -or blasé, or both- as to be willing to award a prize only to those contestants that average what is close to flawlessness in his warped view of what that could be...?
No second places - no top ten - much less a top one-hundred... Nooooo!
He only will award a cookie to those that are what I will call an "imp-erfect ten" in his cross-eyed view!
What sort of a pig-headed in-bred is THAT?!?
It truly burns one's derrière when one knows the following, to boot:
1. that there is no perfection in this world
2. that what this guy is rating are BLOGS! (1)
3. that the prized cookie in question is not even worth enabled cookies on the net!

BLOGGYAWARD.COM is a farce - not even worth looking at, per se!
The criteria for rating each blog are all superficial things - and when it is actual content that is being evaluated and rated, it is done with the back of one's hand... So very matter-of-factly and in a true dismissive manner...
All that truly matters for this blowhard, is to have an entertaining experience with lots of fireworks, each time he visits a new blog... (He or she, granted - I am not 100% fixed on what this bloody Bloggy person really is...)

Such a "barely-scratching-the-surface" method of analysis can only produce inaccurate reviews, I say...

And thus, to break the streak here (which was, so far, just praising some bloggers, here and there...) we will denounce our first crappy blog - Bloggy!

It is only truly good and useful as a compendium of blogs - but really now, you get the same thing with a quick web search on Google Blog Search!
And, at least there, it will be topical and not a mish-mash!
Nor a mismatch!

You want truly fair, accurate and GOOD blog reviewing processes?
Try B.O.B. and maybe even the Canadian Blog Awards!
At least it is INFINITELY more of an achievement to be crowned by the latter two than to be coiffed by the former...

(1) No one ever gets PAID to blog; despite some claims to the contrary!
(I mean, with wages like these, you don't go far in the real world's "ladder of success" and in the hypocritical and fastidious society of today! But that is another story...)
That and that alone is in great part the reason why most people blog ''as it comes'' - with little care for details or professionalism...!

Always nice to see another young chap as fervently proud and patriotic about his cultural heritage as I am about mine! Mix that in with a similar openness to the world - as I myself display on my own Prime blog (TLB Prime - the first - the original blog in my network! Also known as... the luminous blog!) and you know it; I can hazard a guess and say that this blog linked in the present post has to be the equivalent of me in... CUBA as it turns out to be!

The Mound of Sound...

One has to love a blog that has a rhyming title, pokes fun at Dubya constantly, looks for the best articles that do exactly that and posts pictures that do that as well... Pictures such as this one:



In a simple, easy to browse through layout that contains many recent posts (so that you don't have to weed through the archives any time soon!) and minimal sidetracking sidebar stuff, this is a very "focused" blog I'd say - but then it is rather limited in scope too, unlike, say, this one here! :)

I still recommend it!
